Carestream receives CR orders

Carestream Health has signed eight new contracts for its Kodak Point-of-Care CR-ITX 560 computed radiography (CR) platform.

The Rochester, NY-based company's portable CR-ITX 560 features an integrated CR reader/x-ray generator that is designed to provide enhanced capture and access to medical images. Its applications include bedside exams, emergency rooms, trauma units, intensive care facilities, and nursing homes.

Among the facilities signing contracts are Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, GA; Northwest Hospital in Seattle; Pagosa Mountain Hospital in Pagosa Springs, CO; Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow, NY; and Valley Medical Center in Renton, WA.
