Canadian digital radiography (DR) developer Imaging Dynamics (IDC) of Calgary, Alberta, posted a sharp drop in revenues for the company's second quarter.
For the quarter (end-June 30), IDC posted sales of $5.3 million Canadian ($5.1 million U.S.), down 40% compared with sales of $9.3 million ($8.9 million U.S.) in the second quarter of 2007. The company had a net loss of 5¢ a share for the period, compared to a net loss of 4¢ a share for the quarter a year ago.
The company said its results were affected by softness in the U.S. market, and that the firm plans to pursue growth opportunities in international and emerging markets.
