Interventional technology firm Medtronic of Minneapolis has moved to acquire cryotherapy product developer CryoCath Technologies, the company said.
Medtronic will make a takeover bid for CryoCath's outstanding shares for a total equity value of $380 million. The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year, according to Medtronic.
