
Akumin has completed its acquisition of Alliance HealthCare Services, a national provider of radiology and oncology services to hospitals, health systems, and physician groups.
Akumin will now operate in 46 states, with more than 1,000 hospital and health system customers, 154 independent outpatient radiology centers, and 34 radiation therapy centers. The company has more than 4,000 team members serving more than 2 million radiology and oncology patient visits annually, Akumin said.
Alliance announced in June the acquisition cost was $820 million.
