Handheld-ultrasound developer SonoSite reported fourth-quarter revenues of $25.1 million, up 64% compared with $15.3 million in the same period last year. For the quarter (end-December 31, 2002), the Bothell, WA-based vendor had a net profit of $869,000, compared with a net loss of $2.4 million in the fourth quarter a year ago.
For fiscal year 2002, SonoSite reported revenues of $73 million, up 60% compared with $45.7 million in fiscal 2001. The company’s net loss for the year decreased to $7.7 million, compared with a net loss of $16.4 million for 2001.
