Multimodality vendor Philips Medical Systems has hired two new senior executives, one of whom previously worked for Siemens, and the other with management experience at GE.
Philips of Andover, MA, has named Barbara Franciose as global CEO for the company’s ultrasound business line. Franciose formerly was president and general manager of the nuclear medicine business unit at Siemens Medical Solutions in Hoffman Estates, IL, from 1995 until last year. She replaces Timothy Mickelson, who has been named CEO of Philips’ Global Customer Services service unit.
In the other executive appointment, Randy Dobbs has been named CEO of Philips’ North America sales and service region. Dobbs was formerly president and CEO of GE Capital Information Technology Solutions for North America.
Both Franciose and Dobbs report to Jouko Karvinen, president and CEO of Philips Medical Systems.
