Alliance imaging assets acquired by Photogen

Biotechnology firm Photogen Technologies of New Hope, PA, reported that it has acquired all of the assets of Alliance Pharmaceuticals related to medical imaging. This includes all manufacturing and marketing rights to Imagent (formerly Imavist), San Diego-based Alliance’s ultrasound contrast agent that was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for marketing in June 2002.
