Biosound Esaote adds to product line

Ultrasound vendor Biosound Esaote will unveil its digital echocardiography office suite at next week’s American College of Cardiology meeting in New Orleans.

The suite will combine a multimodality portable ultrasound system with the company's Biopacs echocardiography workstation, according to the Indianapolis-based firm. The company said it would also debut new instrumentation technology, as well as diagnostic tools for clinicians in areas such as intimal medial thickness (IMT) and contrast applications.
