Multimodality vendor Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA, has begun shipping the Paragon upgrade for its Acuson Sequoia ultrasound platform.
Paragon debuted at last year's RSNA conference, and includes workflow and image quality improvements. The product enhances the company's tissue equalizing technology (TEQ) with one-button optimization of spectral Doppler imaging, Siemens said.
The upgrade also includes a 10V4 high-frequency transducer for neonatal and pediatric imaging, Spatial Compounding Plus for better contrast resolution, and tissue contrast enhancement (TCE) technology.
