SonoSite signs Japan distribution deal

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite has signed a two-year distribution agreement in Japan with venous catheter developer Nippon Sherwood Medical Industries.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nippon Sherwood will become the exclusive distributor of SonoSite's iLook 25 system for the vascular access market in Japan, according to the Bothell, WA-based SonoSite.
