MedSys places Longport ultrasound systems

Medical technology development, marketing, and distribution organization U.S. MedSys has placed 25 Longport Episcan I-200 ultrasound scanning systems in the New York Home Health Care Equipment Network.

The agreement calls for up to 300 scanning systems to be placed in the network over the next 18 months. MedSys has contracted with the Swarthmore, PA-based Longport to purchase 1,900 systems over three years, with 300 to be purchased in year one, 600 systems in year two, and 1,000 in year three.
