Hand-carried ultrasound developer SonoSite reported record third-quarter revenue of $29.1 million, up 44% compared to the $20.2 million booked in the third quarter of 2003. For the period (end-September 30), the Bothell, WA-based vendor had net income of $1.4 million, compared to a net loss of $161,000 a year ago.
President and CEO Kevin Goodwin attributed the third-quarter performance to growing momentum in the company's international business and improving performance in the U.S. For the fiscal year, SonoSite said it expects to achieve annual revenue growth of approximately 33% and to be profitable.
