Korean ultrasound vendor Medison has added to its SonoAce line of ultrasound systems with the SonoAce X8 scanner.
The new product from the Seoul-based company introduces software optimized for protocol-based ultrasound, new digital signal processing, and a high-resolution 17-inch LCD monitor with articulated arm for ergonomic viewing during an ultrasound examination. The system features a variety of functions including high-resolution 3D imaging, live 3D, 3DXI, full-spectrum imaging, dynamic MR, and spatial compound imaging.
The SonoAce X8 system is targeted at abdominal, ob/gyn, small parts, vascular, and cardiac examinations, the company said.
