Aloka to launch compact ultrasound system

Ultrasound vendor Aloka plans to launch a compact version of its ProSound ultrasound system at the upcoming Congress of European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology in Timisoara, Romania, according to the Wallingford, CT-based firm.

ProSound 2 includes features from ProSound premium models, such as extended pure harmonic detection, multifrequency imaging, and edge enhancement functions, the company said.
