Ultrasonix unveils new SonixTouch

Canadian ultrasound developer Ultrasonix Medical of Richmond, British Columbia, has introduced its new SonixTouch ultrasound imaging system.

The compact, portable diagnostic ultrasound system was developed around the company's third-generation Open Sonix platform for premium-level image quality.

SonixTouch is completely touchscreen-driven for a reconfigurable user interface and can be configured for virtually any ultrasound application. It also includes features such as pulse-inversion harmonics, transmit/receive spatial compounding, panoramic imaging, real-time 3D imaging, and elastography imaging.
