Ultrasonix unveils SonixTouch EMed

Canadian ultrasound developer Ultrasonix Medical of Richmond, British Columbia, has introduced its new SonixTouch EMed, an emergency medicine-specific version of its SonixTouch ultrasound system.

SonixTouch EMed features an intuitive user interface and touchscreen developed specifically for emergency department applications.

It also has wireless connectivity capability and customizable credentialing worksheets, as well as a barcode reader for patient and operator identification.
