TechniScan adds Pepper to board

Breast ultrasound imaging developer TechniScan has named imaging industry veteran Joe Pepper, Ph.D., to its board of directors.

Pepper comes to the Salt Lake City-based vendor after serving as a consultant to medical device start-ups since 2007. Prior to that, Pepper was CEO of ultrasound firm U-Systems and was also CEO of OEC Medical Systems prior to its acquisition by GE Healthcare.
