CAD services provider Mamassist of Statesville, NC, has signed an agreement with group purchasing organization MedAssets of Atlanta.
According to terms of the three-year deal, Mamassist will provide discounted pricing on its CAD mammography outsourcing program to MedAssets' 22,000 healthcare provider members.
Mamassist contracts with imaging facilities to provide CAD services based on the Second Look product from iCAD of Nashua, NH, and the ImageChecker system from R2 Technology of Sunnyvale, CA. This enables breast centers to use CAD technology without buying a system themselves, the firm said.
