Record revenue from digital products helped computer-aided detection (CAD) firm iCAD to a 78% revenue gain in its third quarter.
For the period (end-September 30), the Nashua, NH-based firm had total revenue of $11.2 million, up from the $6.3 million booked in the third quarter of 2007. iCAD had net income of $2.1 million, compared with a net loss of $682,000 a year ago.
In quarterly highlights, revenue from digital products rose 104% to $8.2 million, while revenue from film-based products climbed 48% to $2.2 million. The quarter was the fifth consecutive period with positive cash flow, iCAD said.
