CardioDynamics reports Q3 sales increases

Impedance cardiography (ICG) developer CardioDynamics of San Diego posted revenue increases for its third quarter 2008 (end-August 31).

For the quarter, net sales increased 8%, from $5.6 million in 2007 to $6.1 million. The company attributed the growth to a combination of an increase in third-quarter ICG device sales, along with an increase in the average unit sales price of its ICG monitors compared with the third quarter of 2007.

The company's net loss shrank by 61%, from $1.2 million in third quarter of 2007 to $432,000 in the most recent period, according to CardioDynamics.
