Carestream Health has launched a new x-ray detector for acquiring long-length images in orthopedic patients.
DRX-LC is compatible with digital radiography mobile systems and mobile retrofits, as well as x-ray rooms and room retrofits. The detector can be used wirelessly or tethered and includes a cesium scintillator for better dose efficiency, according to the company. It captures long-bone and spine images with a single exposure, which can make long-length imaging easier and more comfortable for patients, the company added.
