Viz.ai is launching Viz Pulmonary Suite, an AI-powered platform designed to help health systems streamline care delivery for pulmonary conditions.
The suite integrates acute and chronic pulmonary workflows in a single platform and connects imaging findings in the EHR to downstream clinical workflows, according to the company. It combines patient summaries and guideline surfacing with specialized tools for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung nodules, and pulmonary embolism, with the goal of preventing missed diagnoses and treatment delays, Viz.ai said. The suite includes Viz PE, which has been shown to reduce time to treatment from 1.75 days to 0.56 days and lower in-hospital mortality among high-risk pulmonary embolism patients, the firm noted.
Viz.ai said it will showcase the suite at the American Thoracic Society Annual Conference, being held May 17 to 19 in Orlando, FL.
