Shone's anomaly:
Clinical:
The anomaly is associated with multiple levels of left heart obstruction. Classically there is a parachute mitral valve (63%), supravalvular mitral ring (47%), subaortic stenosis (79% of cases- discrete membrane in 67%, long segment fibromuscular tunnel in 33%), and coarctation of the aorta (68%). Associated mitral valve stenosis, aortic valve stenosis, and supravalvular aortic stenosis (10%) can also be considered within the spectrum of this disorder. A wide spectrum of severity exists.REFERENCES:
