Contrast agent and virtual colonoscopy developer E-Z-EM has appointed Paul Echenberg as chairman, replacing Howard Stern.
Stern co-founded the Lake Success, NY-based vendor with the late Dr. Philip Meyers in 1962. He has been named chairman emeritus, and will remain as a member of the board.
Echenberg has been an E-Z-EM director since 1987, and has served as chairman of E-Z-EM Canada since 1994. He was also elected as chairman of AngioDynamics in February 2004.
