Analogic gets EXACT order

Analogic said it has received a new order for its Explosive Assessment Computed Tomography (EXACT) system from L-3 Communications subsidiary L-3 Communications Security and Detection Systems.

The EXACT system is part of L-3's eXaminer 3DX 6000, an explosives-detection system that has been purchased by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration and installed at airports in the U.S. and abroad. Shipments to fulfill the order, which is valued at $25 million, will begin this June and will continue into February next year, the Peabody, MA-based firm said.
