Multimodality vendor GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has appointed Gene Saragnese as vice president and general manager of the company's global functional and computed tomography business unit.
Saragnese previously was head of GE's global technology organization, where he supervised the development of technologies like GE's LightSpeed VCT 64-slice CT scanner. Saragnese replaces Peter Arduini, who is leaving GE in April for a position at Baxter International of Deerfield, IL.
