AK Specialty Vehicles lands Philips mobile PET/CT sale

AK Specialty Vehicles of Harvey, IL, has made its first sale of a mobile coach housing a mobile PET/CT system from Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA.

The mobile unit was purchased by Shields Healthcare of Quincy, MA, which currently operates several MRI trailers and one PET trailer, according to AK Specialty. The new PET/CT mobile unit will replace the firm's existing PET trailer.
