Advanced visualization software developer Vital Images of Plymouth, MN, and Japanese multimodality vendor Toshiba Medical Systems have agreed to extend their marketing and distribution alliance in the U.S. for another two years.
The deal will continue to allow Toshiba to sell Vital Images' Vitrea 2 software in more than 50 nations in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and Asia. Japan is not covered by the deal.
The agreement has been in place since 2000, and enables Toshiba to offer Vital Images software to customers purchasing the company's CT scanners.
