GE gets first Canadian 64-slice CT sale

Multimodality vendor GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has installed its LightSpeed VCT 64-slice scanner at London Health Sciences Centre, Westminster Campus, in London, Ontario.

The facility said the LightSpeed VCT will be used for cardiology applications, as well as pediatric and trauma exams. It is the first LightSpeed VCT installation in Canada, according to GE.
