Dr. Derace Schaffer, founder of Dallas-based diagnostic imaging center operator Radiologix, has started a new company, Partners Imaging, to help cardiologists acquire 64-slice CT scanners.
Partners Imaging plans to act as a financial, business, and marketing partner to cardiology practices, according to the Dallas-based firm. It will offer a turnkey approach to place cardiac CT systems directly into physicians' practices while managing the entire process, from installation and staffing to reimbursement and regulatory guidance, the company said.
