Portable scanner developer NeuroLogica has raised $12 million in a funding round intended to support higher-than-expected orders of its BodyTom CT scanner, according to an article on MassHighTech.com.
Proceeds of the financing, filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, will be used for inventory and working capital needs, MassHighTech.com reported. The funding involved the company's existing backers, including the Gordon Charitable Remainder Trust, a charitable donation trust set up by Bernard Gordon, NeuroLogica chairman and founder of Analogic.
