Advanced visualization software developer Qi Imaging said its PhyZiodynamics software was highlighted in a poster presentation at the American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting.
Researchers from Massachusetts General Hospital combined electrocardiogram-gated, multiphase CT imaging with PhyZiodynamics software technology, Qi Imaging said. The study showed promising results in an effort to simulate an electroanatomical map, which is an invasive electrophysiology procedure.
The PhyZiodynamics 4D processing system allows the automated registration of DICOM-based modality images into 3D and 4D organ datasets, which can be interrogated throughout the entire structure while either still or in motion, according to the company.
