Carestream Health has unveiled Focus 35C, a retrofit digital radiography (DR) detector geared toward bringing DR technology to specialty practices and small medical practices and hospitals.

Image courtesy of Carestream.Powered by Carestream's Eclipse image processing engine, Focus 35C will serve as the low-cost wireless detector package in the company's portfolio. It comes paired with the vendor's Image Suite software, allowing customers to also get the capabilities of a PACS without having to invest in a larger PACS, according to Carestream.
Carestream will present Focus 35C at the upcoming RSNA 2019 meeting in Chicago. The company expects Focus 35C to be commercially available later this year.
