X-ray digital detector developer Detection Technology has launched a new digital x-ray flat-panel detector based on complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology.
The company's X-Panel 1615 is designed for applications in dentistry and image-guided surgery. It sports a slender form factor with high-quality imaging at low radiation doses, according to the company.
X-Panel 1615 is available in two models. X-Panel 1615s features built-in functions for extra image stability during long fluoroscopy procedures and is designed for use with surgical C-arms. X-Panel 1615d can scan full frames at speeds up to 66 frames per second, and it is optimized for dental conebeam CT (CBCT) and panoramic imaging applications.
