Siemens' Biograph wins Canadian approval

Siemens Healthcare said its Biograph mMR hybrid PET/MRI scanner has received a Health Canada medical device license.

Biograph mMR is a fully integrated whole-body PET/MRI system that includes a 3-tesla MR scanner and an integrated PET unit. The device was cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in June.
