Medical isotope producer Advanced Medical Isotope (AMIC) has hired Global TechInnovations (GTI) to help in the acquisition of a Russian company that specializes in producing and selling radioactive isotopes for medical diagnostic and therapeutic uses.
The potential acquisition would include the Russian company's assets, such as separation process technologies, analytical work product from multiple production and scientific partners, and proprietary contracts.
According to AMIC, a definitive agreement to purchase the company could be finalized before the end of this year.
GTI will also help AMIC explore and complete other acquisition opportunities within Russia and the former Soviet Union states.
