Nuclear medicine firm UltraSPECT has expanded an agreement with Absolute Imaging Solutions (AIS) to pair reconstruction software with gamma cameras.
Under the deal, UltraSPECT will provide its Xpress3.Cardiac nuclear medicine image reconstruction software with AIS' new Mediso cardiac SPECT cameras.
Xpress3.Cardiac uses UltraSPECT's Wide-Beam Reconstruction (WBR) technology to deliver half-dose cardiac imaging with image quality equivalent to that of full-time imaging exams. It can also minimize radiation dose to the staff administering the exams, the firms said.
