Medical isotope firm Shine Medical Technologies has begun construction on the first building for its new campus in Janesville, WI.
Building One will initially be used to house the first full-size Shine isotope production system, and it will be utilized during construction of its main production facility to train employees and develop operating history with equipment, according to the firm. In the future, the building will serve as a technology development center, Shine said.
The company is also preparing to build its main production facility, which will produce molybdenum-99 and other medical isotopes.
