Accuray has opened a new training center in Genolier, Switzerland, that will serve as the European education hub for radiosurgery and radiotherapy product training.
The training center will promote the sharing of best practices and innovative techniques using Accuray's CyberKnife and Radixact radiation treatment delivery systems, as well as its Precision treatment planning system.
The new center is the most recent addition to the company's existing training hubs in Madison, WI; Tokyo, Japan; and Tianjin, China.
The Genolier training facility includes hands-on simulation facilities for the CyberKnife and Radixact Systems to be used for training and demonstrations and meeting rooms for seminars, workshops, and educational events. The company added that training will be tailored to meet the requirements of various medical professionals involved in the care of patients using radiotherapy and radiosurgery.
The center sits within the Genolier Innovation Hub, a fully-owned subsidiary of Aevis Victoria SA, for which a grand opening will occur later in 2024.
