Siemens Medical Systems executive John Pavlidis is leaving the Iselin, NJ, vendor's MRI division to lead its ultrasound group. Pavlidis has been named group vice president of Siemens' Issaquah, WA-based ultrasound division, replacing Wolfgang Reim, who has left the company.
Pavlidis is a 10-year Siemens veteran, having joined the company in 1990 as an MRI product specialist. Since then he has held a variety of positions in its MRI division, both in Iselin and at the company's Erlangen, Germany headquarters. His most recent title was vice president of MR at Siemens' U.S. subsidiary.
