Fonar gets first Indomitable sale

MRI vendor Fonar has announced the first sale of its Indomitable scanner, a full-body system that offers upright scanning capabilities. The purchaser is an imaging center on the East Coast, according to the vendor. The Melville, NY-based firm received Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for the 0.6-tesla Indomitable on October 3.
