Epstein named Intermagnetics chairman

MRI components provider Intermagnetics General has promoted Glenn Epstein to chairman of the board. Epstein joined Latham, NY-based Intermagnetics as president and chief operating officer in 1997, was elected to Intermagnetics’ board of directors in 1998, and became chief executive officer in June 1999. Epstein, who retains the titles of president and CEO, will succeed Intermagnetics’ existing chairman and co-founder Carl Rosner, who is retiring.
