MRI Devices debuts breast, shoulder coils

Coil developer MRI Devices has introduced its open breast array coil and shoulder array coil for use on Philips Medical Systems' Intera 1.5T MRI scanners. The breast array coil features a four-channel array designed to image in unilateral or bilateral mode, with an open design that allows for ease of patient positioning, biopsy, or needle localization, according to the Waukesha, WI-based company. The four-channel shoulder array coils are designed to image the shoulder joint and related structures, MRI Devices said.
