Philips Medical Systems has introduced Intera Enterprise, a 1.5-tesla, short-bore MR scanner targeted at the independent imaging center market. The system offers image reconstruction speed greater than 400 images per second, and can also be upgraded, according to the Bothell, WA-based firm. A mobile Intera Enterprise configuration is also available.
