MRI contrast developer Epix Medical has promoted Thomas McMurry, Ph.D., to vice president of research.
McMurry joined Epix in March 1993 as director of synthetic chemistry, and he has held a number of positions during his 11-year tenure with the company. His most recent role was executive director of discovery and intellectual property, according to the Cambridge, MA-based firm.
