Hitachi Medical Systems America of Twinsburg, OH, has signed a distribution agreement for MRI systems with Hitachi Canada (HCL) of Mississauga, Ontario. The deal marks the entry of HCL into the Canadian diagnostic imaging market, according to the company.
Under the terms of the agreement, HCL will provide the sales, marketing, and service support of MRI systems to the Canadian market. These products include Hitachi's Altaire and Airis Elite open MRI systems, the company said.
