MRI components provider Intermagnetics General reported that fiscal second-quarter normalized net income from operations increased 25% to $8.5 million, from $6.8 million in the same quarter last year.
For the period (end-November 27), the Latham, NY-based firm said revenues climbed about 18% to $78.1 million from $66.2 million in the same period last year.
Intermagnetics reaffirmed its sales growth forecast of greater than 15% for the fiscal year. Earnings growth is projected to be in excess of 20% for the period.
