MRI coil developer MR Instruments of Minneapolis has hired Labros Petropoulos as chief operating officer.
Petropoulos will be responsible for integrating the company's operations to grow its Cheetah Coil product line, and to align the company with the requirements of 3-tesla MRI manufacturers. He served a stint previously at MRI coil firm USAI of Cleveland, where he was responsible for the research, development, engineering, and integration of high-field radiofrequency coils.
