GE Healthcare reported that it has installed the 10,000th Signa MR magnet built in the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based company's MR facility in Florence, SC.
The MR magnet was installed at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System's Diagnostic Imaging Center in Lake Success, NY. This latest MR installation pushes GE's total installed base to more than 13,000 MR systems in clinical settings around the world, according to the company.
