MRI coil developer Supertron reported that it has acquired Brisbane, Australia-based MRI coil manufacturer Spin Systems.
Newark, NJ-based Supertron said Spin Systems is an offshoot of the Centre for Magnetic Resonance at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. It has developed a line of more than 1,000 products, including conventional MRI coils and other accessories for clinical and preclinical imaging, according to Supertron.
As part of the merger, Spin Systems and Supertron will become m2m Imaging.
